Anthony Chapel

The reason I chose Arkansas for our little vacation during December is because I wanted to see Anthony Chapel in person.  So, we planned our trip around Anthony Chapel, and it was so worth it. Since we went right after Christmas, we were also able to enjoy the Christmas lights adorning the garden.  Anthony Chapel is a glass and wood structure nestled in the woods at Garvan Woodland Gardens.  We planned to arrive before sunset so I could take photos before and after dark.

What a beautiful place to see and worship at.  If you ever have a chance to go, it is well worth it!

  16. Please acknowledge the architect of this iconic 20th century structure: E. Fay Jones, for without his design genius, these photos would not have been possible...
