I Apologize

I thought I could do it, but I just can't.

Do what?

It all.

I've been trying to do it all for too long, and I need a real break.

I haven't taken any "real" photographs in two months.

My blog posts are thrown together.

My life has been overtaken by the care of my parents, full-time work, my commute, a continued house rennovation, and supporting my step-son who moved back home 4 months ago.

The stress is affecting me physically, emotionally, creatively and spiritually.

I feel drained, and I don't want to continue to cheat my readers with leftovers.

I need to let Jesus refill my cup.

I'm going to take a break from this blog for awhile.  This means my new meme (which I shouldn't have started when I did) Weekend Wrap-Up will be postponed until a later date.  Maybe we will start that up at the first of the new year.

I pray you all will have a gratitude filled Thanksgiving and a joyous Christmas as you celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Email me if you need anything at all or would just like to say hi.  Love you guys!

Until next time . . .grace and peace.

Stephani

  1. We will miss you sweet friend but I totally understand. It has taken me a long time to come back from the death of my nephew and my knee replacement.

You will come back and we will love it when you do--until then, don't worry about a thing concerning blogging--just know that we will be blessed when we see your sweet smile again.'

    Love,
    Dianne

  12. Dear Stephani,
Take all the time you need...and yes, you will be missed. I look forward to seeing you back here, but in the mean time, you and your family will be in our prayers.

"This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:9

  13. Oh, sweet Stefani, take all the time you need. Being a care-giver is stressful enough (I know) along with your job, home renovations, added family sometimes just becomes a little overwhelming. Unfortunately you can't step away from all those responsibilites, but you can step away from your blog. But sometimes you may need your blog just for an outlet. I pray that the Advent season will bring peace to you. Blessings for you and your family for Christmas.

  14. I have found too often that blogging has taken up time that should have been spent else where. Also I find it can pull me away from God. So, I commend you and I will pray for you as you let Jesus fill you up to overflowing!
